Tuesday - November 08, 2022, Faculty of Agriculture in order to enliven the 68th Anniversary of Faperta Unand, held an international seminar. The 2nd ASIC International Seminar (Agrifood System International Conference) was held for 2 days starting from November 08 to November 09, 2022. The 2nd ASIC International Seminar was held in a hybrid manner (Offline & Online) in the Prof.Dr.Ir. Jurnalis Kamil, M.Sc courtroom.

The 2nd ASIC Seminar was attended by the Rector of Universitas Andalas represented by the Vice Rector III Mr. (Ir. Insannul Kamil, M. Eng., Ph.D, IPM, ASEAN Eng), Chairman of LPPM Universitas Andalas, Deans, Heads of Departments, Lecturers, and academicians. On this occasion the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture (Dr. Ir. Indra Dwipa, MS) gave a speech and great appreciation to all participants. The Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture also said that this international seminar aims to motivate all lecturers and academics in working both in the field of research and service according to the tri dharma of higher education, besides that it is also a forum for integration of agricultural knowledge and science as well as collaboration with various agencies, universities, and institutions throughout the world, so that the Faculty of Agriculture of Universitas Andalas is better known abroad for the progress of Faperta Unand in the future.
