The Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Andalas congratulated all graduates and graduates of the Faperta Unand Undergraduate Program at the VI graduation ceremony of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Andalas on January 14, 2023.

At today's graduation ceremony, Faperta Unand graduated as many as 101 Bachelor of Agriculture (SP) graduates, 9 Master of Agriculture (MP) graduates and 2 Doctoral graduates (Dr).

If we look further, if this economic recession occurs, the impact caused is the same as the impact of covid-19 which once hit many countries of the world 2-3 years ago. Many countries have entered the brink of recession, said the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Dr. Ir. Indra Dwipa, MS.

Furthermore, the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture Unand said that all of you are one of the pillars in realizing national food sovereignty. Those of you who have just graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture are still fresh, still have extraordinary enthusiasm. For that, we hope that after this graduation, if you want to go home or still want to spend time in the village first while waiting for job vacancies, build your village, your nagari by strengthening food in your village. You can contribute by inviting people in your village to develop the potential of food crops or other agricultural crops in your village. As a graduate of the Faculty of Agriculture, you have sufficient knowledge and skills to develop agriculture in your village.
