Sinopsis

Cahaya sebagai informasi dari langit meliputi gelombang elektromagnetik dan teleskop, pancaranbenda hitam meliputi intensitas spesifik, fluks, luminositas, bintang sebagai benda hitam; besaran dan hukum mendasar dalam astronomi; fotometri bintang meliputi sistem magnitudo, sistem UBV, indeks warna. Magnitudo bolometric, koreksi bolometrik, hubungan magnitudo bolometric dengan temperatur efektif; spektroskopi bintang meliputi teori dasar spektroskopi, pembentukan spectrum bintang, klasifikasi spectrum bintang, diagram Hertzprung:Russel, kelas luminositas, bintang dengan spectrum khusus;.atmosfer bintang meliputi koefisien absorbsi, koefisien emisi, persamaan hantaran pancaran, fungsi sumber, solusi persamaan differensial; struktur dalamnya bintang meliputi tekanan, temperatur, rapat massa, pembangkit energi; evolusi bintang meliputi pembentukan bintang, evolusi pra deret utama, evolusi deret utama, evolusi lanjut, akhir riwayat bintang; materi antar bintang, galaksi dan kosmologi modern.
